 e Science Tauranga Marathon\, taking to the streets of the beautiful bay c
 ity on Sunday\, September 19th. The event is one of the most prestigious i
 n the Bay of Plenty and over 2\,500 participants are expected for a day th
 at has something for everyone.\n\nFor the hard core runner the 21k half ma
 rathon\, 42k marathon and unique new 50k ultra marathon all start next to 
 the waves at Papamoa. The views just keep getting better and better as the
 y round the mount\, cross the harbour bridge and run through the city. For
  the rest of us mere mortals\, there are 5k and 10k options based in the c
 ity and there’s even a dash for the kids later in the day. Every finishe
 r is guaranteed two things\; a rollicking welcome as they run down The Str
