Cast your vote for who you think should be our next Local Legends $10,000 Grant Winner! You will be able to cast your vote online and in-centre for the month-long community voting period, closing Monday 30 June.

IN CENTRE VOTING
Visit the friendly team at our Concierge Desk to receive 2 physical voting tokens. We have a voting station positioned upstairs in the mall, on the bridge between OneNZ and Platypus Shoes, where you can cast your vote toward your preferred finalist.

Bethlehem College: Let's Paint Te Wairoa Marae
Let’s paint Te Wairoa Marae. Bethlehem College is organising a volunteering project to give the Te Wairoa Marae a fresh coat of paint. Located at one of the city’s entrances, the marae welcomes visitors and residents alike as they cross the Wairoa River into Tauranga. The Local Legends Grant would cover the costs of preparation, scaffolding, and paint supplies to beautify and preserve the historic marae.

Ōtūmoetai College: Sports Scoreboard Upgrade
With an increase in participation across various sports at the school, Ōtūmoetai College’s gym has become a host for school and interschool events. The school are committed to providing the best facilities for locals and visiting schools. To enhance the experience for players and spectators, Ōtūmoetai College are seeking funding to upgrade their scoreboards to provide reliable operation, clear visibility, and accurate scoring for sports events.

Pāpāmoa College: Safety Mat Installation
Pāpāmoa College are seeking funding to install safety matting in their new playground designed for their Year 7 & 8 students. As a dedicated space for physical activity and social development, the installation of soft-fall matting will provide safety to their almost 600 intermediate students. Their commitment to creating a safe and encouraging space for students aims to improve the well-being, engagement, and daily experience of young learners.
