Fourth Local Legends Grant Winner
Congratulations to All 4 Love, the fourth winners of Tauranga Crossing’s $5,000 Local Legends Grant.
Kam, the founder of All 4 Love was overwhelmed and blown away when she heard that her charity group was the winner of the $5,000 Local Legends Grant.
All 4 Love provides support for families who are facing hard times by donating newborn essentials to local midwives and social workers in the community. “The amount of new families we will be able to help with this grant is amazing”, Kam expressed. All 4 Love accepts new and used newborn donations from the community from which are cleaned and altered. There is an amazing group of volunteers that help drive the charity by offering help in areas such as knitting.
Kam is excited to put the $5,000 grant towards a range of areas including additional shelving, containers, and thermometers. Kam would also like to provide the mothers with essentials as well as the newborns. “I’d like to sit down with the midwives and social workers to find out what they think the mums really need, things like toiletries”, Kam says. On top of this, Kam has mentioned that she would like to provide her amazing volunteers with a portion of the $5,000 grant to express her thankfulness for the time and effort they put toward All 4 Love.
Kam and her team express that “the smile that you see on the Mum’s faces is what makes it all worth it.”
