Father’s Day Charity Bike Build

**UPDATE: Thank you for your overwhelming support, we had 50 Dad’s register very quickly! Come along and support the Dad’s on the big day, 11am 1 September**

CALLING ALL DAD’S!

Come together this Father’s Day and put your DIY Dad superpowers to good use, for good.

We’re looking for 50 Dads to build 50 kids bikes that will be donated to Good Neighbour, who will gift them to deserving kids in our community. Since it’s Father’s Day, we’ll also treat the 50 Dad’s to a free lunch as well!

If you can donate half an hour of your time this Father’s Day to help us help some kids, please fill in the registration form below (all 50 spaces have been allocated). This event takes place at 11am, Sunday 1 September (Father’s Day).

A special thanks to My Ride Mount Maunganui, who have supplied the bikes and bike mechanics who will double-check the DIY Dad skills before the bikes go to their new owners.

Q: Where is the Bike Build?

A: In fine weather the event will be in the carpark opposite Majestic Tea Bar (opposite the new mall). In wet weather it will be on the ground level of the multi-deck carpark.

Q: Who will the bikes go to?

A: We are working with local schools to gift the bikes to local children that otherwise may not get the opportunity to own a bike.

Q: Can I register someone else?

A: Yes- but only if you check with that person first.

Q: Can my kids help me build the bike?

A: Absolutely! We’ll leave that decision up to you…
